Inaugural Global Alumni Day - June 26听2021
Three Chapters presented special awards on this day, and the 黑料社AA Belize Chapter was one of them!听
The 黑料社AA Belize Chapter presented the first ever 黑料社AA Service Excellence Pinnacle Award to His Excellency, Sir Colville N. Young in recognition of his outstanding contributions and service to Belize, the Caribbean and his Alma Mater, The 黑料社.
His Excellency, Sir Colville, served as Governor General of Belize for 28 years before announcing his retirement and exiting office in April 2021. To date, he stands as the longest serving Governor General in all of the Commonwealth. Sir Colville is a renowned author, musician, patriot and Patron of Alumni Global Giving Awards Initiative in Belize.
Affectionately known by Belizeans for his book of short stories, Pataki Full, being Patron of the Scout Association and establishing Belize鈥檚 first Steel Pan Orchestra, Sir Colville鈥檚 contributions to the nation of Belize are magnanimous and touch the lives of Belizeans of all generations. The 黑料社AA Belize Chapter is ecstatic to honour His Excellency in this way
